    • Thank you for giving us such a creative way to pass the time. I still wonder how many novels where based on a campaign played in the world that David and Gary created. Godspeed David

    • To think of the stuff this guy inspired. Basically the entire concept of the role playing game, along with modern video games and massive sci-fi fantasy market, he's the Johnny Ramone of the geeks. RIP buddy, i'll lend you my +1 Mace.

    • One of the Greats has past on. I do work, live on my own, and have a husband. As do all those I have played RPGs with and do play RPGs with. Its a close group of like minded people who enjoy using their minds to create and use skills you learn and need in everyday life. If you don't get it you never will.

    • Man I had some great times playing D&D with my friends. Staying up late and having awesome gaming sessions. I wish I could get some of those times back. and for the record I did have a job. R.I.P Dungeon Master.

    • I see some a tools here

Probably a lot of sorry people who feel bad about themselves, so they justify putting down others so they have a shot at temporarily feeling good.

      If you don't get it

      You wont get it.

    • back in the day , i had a mate whose dad dressed up the interior of their house to look like a castle . low light , dark stone , oriental rugs , random hand forged steel shit hung on walls , the works . we had the most awesome D n' D sessions . period . we actually used to have sleepovers where we'd play all night and then go to bed while listening to the audio book version of the Hobbit , on tape . full on , hardcore D n' D . and to think all of it was made possible by this guy and his pal Gary Gygax , who died what ? a few months ago . i wonder if he was heartbroken every time he rolled a 20 sider , keepin it real to the very end , till he was re-united with his good dungeon pal Gary . RIP my friend .

    • who really cares other then the losers who sit in their moms basement all day smokin weed and playing this game instead of getting off their lazy ass and getting a job.

Well, maybe his family for starters.

Also, way to generalize a whole group of people. I personally don't play the game but have friends who do and they run the gamut of popular musicians, consultants, lawyers, managers of large companies and designers....and last I checked none of them were living in their moms basement.

I'm not usually a stickler for grammar, but if you're going to blindly bash a group of people calling them lazy jobless potheads, you might want to learn the difference between "then" and "than." ;)

No offense darlin but I make enough money at what I do and knowing the diff between then or than isn't going to change the fact.

Although I am sure his family does care.
barnabasnagy, did you not understand what I wrote?

OK sweetie, but I didn't ask how much you make (frankly I couldn't care less) nor did I point out your lack of grammar to call into question your income. I did it to make a point that if you're going to criticize others and call them losers it looks a lot better if you understand the words you're using.
