Tired of spam messages on social networking sites?

You're not alone, because according to a new study by the Interactive Advertising Bureau, almost a third of all users using social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook are fed up of receiving requests to join new online groups of try new applications.

The study also finds that 28% of users are happy to join new group, if it offered exclusive content. Elsewhere 12% of people surveyed don't like the fact that others can monitor online activity.
