World's first camera goes on public display in Macau

The world's first ever camera is on show at an exhibition in Macau, no doubt forming the centrepiece of the 'The Invention of Photography and the Earliest Photographs.'

It's not exactly the height of aesthetically pleasing technology, but the wooden sliding box did mark the way of the camera.

The cam will be surrounded by 250 photography antiques and 180 old photos, although it's unconfirmed if photgraphy will be allowed in the exhibition...
