As if pigs providing the world with bacon and pork wasn't enough, Chinese scientists claim that the little swines could be a great alternative when it comes to stem cell research, after it's been discovered that scientists 'were able to turn ordinary pig cells into stem cells that can be used to treat a variety of ailments in people.'
It's believed that in the future, pigs could bred as specific organ donors (not sure if the bacon will still taste good?) as these experiments were the first successful attempt to "transform adult cells from animals into stem cells."

A) Yeah go for it!....As long as we don't die from swine flu! or some other form of pig disease...
B) I would be tempted to eat myself if I was partially piggy.
