The former head of Electronic Arts Neil Young has recently made a statement in a recent article for Wired Magazine that, "The iPhone has revolutionized everything. It's going to enable incredible things for gaming,"
Since leaving EA last June, his new startup company ngmoco has been creating games for the iPhone. Mr Young also stated that the iPhone platform represents an "inflective moment" for the industry, one that necessitates a whole new approach to development and distribution.
His company as he also goes on saying is all about small teams making games rapidly and offering them on iTunes .
"It's like having Wal-Mart in your pocket," quoted Young says. He also believes that the platform gives developers the chance experiment and adapt more quickly.

It isn't the future of gaming though. Sure it'll be bigger and better than before.... but you can't call it the future of gaming
