The Toughbook was shot at with a Ruger Mark III .22 pistol, semi-mauled by a Tiger and even got stomped on by a 10,000Ib elephant, yet still functioned like it had just come out of the packaging.

Color me impressed. The real question though is: Is it as well-made on the inside as it is on the outside?

Just show that they can make electronics that don't fry at the slightest fall or splash. But why would you put out a product that doesn't break? The same reason cars are designed to break down after a few years. MONEY.

I think this should be a standard testing procedure for all new electrical devices. Let's face it, if it's not strong enough to withstand a tiger or elephant attack, what good is it gonna be to anyone else.

A shame you were being sarcastic, I would love for this to be a standard test.

I'd like to see it survive a week in my bag, that would give it a run for its money...
