    • Anyone naieve enough to buy vista deserves windows 7. You are passed around the corporate banquet table and the ceo's all snack on your asses every 4 years or so. They introduce a new op system so your old equipment can be rendered "obsolete" due to non support, and they can repeat their little plan which is to keep you in their corporate cycle of enslavement. Even though your present equipment worked just fine. Open your eyes and don't let them do it!

Read the "new benefits" they list here:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/compare?T1=tab20

And you realize that all those things listed "find files easily" open a network within 3 clicks etc are ALL available on WINDOWS 98!!!!

How can people be so fricking gullible. I am so tired of living surrounded by idiots.

    • while this is a good move by microsoft, vista sucks! XP is what I use and I had vista taken out of my dell and replaced it with XP! Don't plan on trying explorer 7 until any bugs are worked out! Microsoft blew it with Vista so what makes anybody think they won't blow it again?

    • Very good move by Microsoft.

I'm a vista user myself. I don't mind it. My only major complaint being memory usage really. With Vista Glass it's a memory hog.

This is a great PR move by MS however. Regardless of how good the current SP edition of Vista is, it has a bad rep. With all the positive press surrounding 7, this should help people get past that.
