The Houses of Parliament lose more heat than Buckingham Palace, the Reichstag, Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly, costing taxpayers £7,191 a year in wasted energy.
The Welsh Assembly leaks just £95.98 a year, Buckingham Palace loses £1,038, the Reichstag loses £599.25 and the Scottish Parliament leaks £463.40.
The least green landmark was Manchester Piccadilly, which loses £18,217.

Getting the bus back through Whitehall / Westminster at night you see so many lights left on in these civic buildings. They're usually lit up like Christmas trees.
But like richjm says; it's ALL office blocks, not just ones populated with politicians.

For a relatively new building, the Scottish Parliament looks like it has rubbish insulation.
I'd like to see a thermal image scan of the Daily Mail offices to see if they're hypocritical (a wild suggestion, I know).
