O2 customers get Twitter texts

Good news for anyone who's on O2 - from August you'll be able to get your Twitter DMs and @replies texted to you - but only up to 20 texts per day, though.

I think this is long overdue. Now c'mon T-Mobile... do the same and I'll forgive you for all of your many, many failings.

    • It's a good move by O2, but I'd imagine that most of their customers who are using Twitter will be doing so via an iPhone, rendering this new 'deal' pretty useless considering we've all been checking Twitter for free for months...

    • It's very pleasure news even I use Vodafone, which is already supply Free Twitter text service.

It's quite hard to pursuade Twitter to my mates, who worry about extra text costs.

So I wonder other mobile carriers follow this decision.
