I wonder? what would happen if you got everybody's back into it? Here's a company selling instructions (including books & videos) how to rig these units up at home and how to tie them into the power grid and get paid => http://www.power4home.com/index.php?hop=lutlut
Being on disability check I have not purchased it, plus being in an apartment where I can't do it anyway. Here are two websites that have various people's opinions who have purchased it, and some of them are extremely positive towards it =>

So, you know I was all well and for solar energy as a staple of energy, until something I saw on the Daily Show reminded me why I didn't think of this as the be-all and end-all to our energy problems. Solar energy processes take a lot of water, and we don't have nearly so much water available as people act like. Are we really capable of having a solar energy future and still be able to sustain ourselves with the life giver of our planet?

Concentrated solar takes water, not photovoltaics to my knowledge and coal and nuclear take MUCH more.

i'm not sure if i agree with ur statement....so i'll leave you with this: forget about solor power...just for a minute....think about wind power. it can make all our energy problems a thing of the past...

It's also great for the economy because it will generate more jobs for a green environment.

And thats the projection today. If we keep pushing technological improvements than lets hope that its exponentialy more.

great news indeed! now if they can just begin to make some larger leaps in solar photovoltaic efficiency...

solor energy is not the only natural clean way of making electricity. there is wind power which is endless "no more electric bills for anyone" and if harvested correctly, can alone make ALL other forms of makeing energy absolete! period.

This is great news! The more solar energy utilized the better! Hopefully the increasing demand for it will push companies to create more affordable solar technology! Of course, most importantly the earth is better off.

There is already a great demand for solorenergy use by the public and it is very accessable, but there is lots of political crap "money" wrapped up in remaining on fossle fuel. the big energy company's also happen to both own and are some of or political figures. the are not intrested in our well being. only their profit.
