Microsoft have now decided to restrict the games created by developers to 35 games a year which makes it now harder to get your game put on the store. This I feel is now going to discourage people from making as many games for the Store.
On the plus side I guess those 35 games you get will be better because they can filter out more of the bad ones but personally I would rather allow all. Some games that people make may not get the chance to put them on. If it is true the amount of games asking to be put on doesn't mean they are all going to be bad
Microsoft say there is too much content available. I have not a clue how you can have too much content but maybe the same thing is happening to them that did to Apple a while ago where they are under too much pressure to get their Apps up in time. A link to that article is below.

This is a bad thing, but as a constant XBL gamer for the last 5+ years (I don't actually know the exact number (so shoot me)), but I hardly go to check out independent games. I did however find this massage game the other day on there and let me say....FABULOUS!!!

It is three words: Control, control and control. Less games means more revenue for mega studios and microsoft. Too many games in the market leads to less value per individual games. Indies tend to sell cheap than the big publishers. It is unfair to consumers but...well, what else can i say?

This is a mistake. MS won't win the hearts of gamers without the quirky titles made by indie companies. I wouldn't even have that forsaken system if The Behemoth's Castle Crashers wasn't on it.

While I can understand that the marketplace might be a bit overloaded, I feel that this must just be a pretext as Microsoft previously called the problem of too man titles in the marketplace solved by their update. I think this is just Microsoft hating on the little guy, as usual.
