There is word floating around the internet that Dell is teaming up with Intel to create a 5-inch touchscreen tablet, which they said are going to offer free of charge to customers who sign up for one or more digital media subscriptions. The device, yet to be named, could hit the market within the next 6 months and be a big competitor for Amazon’s Kindle. The Dell Tablet would give users who are turned off by the Kindles high price an alternative to access digital media.
