Apple is starting to make a name for itself with all the bizarre rejections from it’s App Store. Some famous examples include the Nine Inch Nails application and an eBook reader that allowed users to search for the Kama Sutra. (Read blog for full article)

    • @Found_Avenue well the main point of the article was to point out the fact that the guys @ Ninjawords were apparently being picked on by Apple which I think most people feel is pretty f'd up. However, yeah, the whole Apple vs Mac vs Linux thing is pretty stupid. It all boils down to personal preference and or what OS meets ones needs the best.

      Remember, arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded.

    • I think it's hilarious when people align themselves so passionately for or against Mac's or PC's. Like the guy up there with the great big "F-YOU" to Apple. It's just a computer company, people. Lighten up! Get a grip!

      Sometimes I get the ironic sense that people who throw themselves so passionately into blog debates about operating systems, are the same folks who can't be bothered to go to the polls on election day to voice their opinion on something that actually matters...

    • The reasons behind the rejection are quite stupid, but I'm really not surprised by this.

      A formerly high-profile developer for the store was recently banned by Apple because it turns out all of his apps were useless or infringed on copyrights. But over 900 of his apps were approved before Apple found out and did something about it.

      Apple needs to make changes to the approval process for the App Store, because there are some clear flaws with it.
