Twitter's down! Calm down!

Twitter is the worst site EVER!!! I recommend checking out http://greencowz.wackwall.com & I also recommend ANYTHING that's NOT Twitter!!! 140 characters??? Come on people!!! 140 characters is NOT a web site it's a status update!!! You can find status updates on ANY social networking site!!! I have not seen one social networking site that didn't have some sort of thing to insert your thoughts on!!! OH! &...ALL the sites I've looked at have longer status update space then twitter!!! How the hell can we just keep letting Twitter rip people off & make them idiotic??? Come on !!! We can stop it people!!!

Facebook and Blip.fm mainly. Beyond those I just kept checking Twitter, whimpering and trying to make due without all of my tech celebrity updates.

whether and "social" network is running or not i hang out in the same place. home. my social life is not depentant on the internet. there are 4 ways to communicate with me which i will list in order of preference... in person, phone, e-mail, mail. other than that dont expect to find me.

twitter should just disappear. just as a social experiment. just see how badly people are tweeking out.

BTW...as for where I hang out...WAY TOO MUCH time on Facebook! :)

Wouldn't the BIG news story be a day when Twitter is NOT down or crashing? I LOVE the enthusiasm though and the suggestions Sarah! :)

what's twitter?

I use google reader and friend feed for my news fix. Twitter's nice for forcing me to keep my own updates brief though (since I can be wordy at times).

Tumblr seems really awesome. I just made an account.. Too bad I don't know anyone with an account. anyone want to add me on there so I won't be such a social loser on there?

Hmm, I've all but abandoned last.fm myself besides auto-scrobbling everything I play in iTunes, but I should give it another chance.

I tend to hit FriendFeed, and Facebook for social sites, but I also find myself more free to surf the Current site. Win-win for me really!

I'm on the blip.fm love it! Warning you're most likely to hear old stuff, I'm not very hip to what's cool right now :) But other than twitter and facebook, haven't really tried the other social networking sites since I practically abandoned MySpace.

i haven't given blip.fm much of a thought. perhaps i should check it out. i lurk around tumblr and last.fm mostly, friendfeed on occasion as well.

Aha I agree with you, people take it way to seriously. Like really just go use a different social networking site, its not like you HAVE to go outside and have a real life!

Um I pretty much just use Facebook, Friendfeed, Twitter, and Tumblr I just started Tumblr and its pretty cool!

My social networks of choice when the fail whale arrives would have to be friendfeed and facebook.
