Toshiba joins Blu-ray

Today it was announced that Toshiba in the latest company jumping on the Blu-ray bandwagon

In the war of High Definition Blu-ray cam out the victor last year over HD-DVD and now Toshiba had announced it will now disrepute products that will have Blu-ray support

Does it matter? Many Company are by passing the need to go over to Blu-ray DVDs and are readying them self for the next stage and the future of distribution of Films and Tv, Digital Downloading

With the ever growing market of Digital Downloads is the use of hard copy's going to die out completely

    • It must be a bitter pill for Toshiba to swallow, being one of the founding companies of the HD-DVD format.

      But you're right, Blue Ray isn't going to last that long, especially as a playback device. It has got potential for storage though - 50Gb on one disc? Yes please
