MagLevAir could transport passengers to airports

Aircrafts are designers' favourite forms of transportation to toy-around with, but with all that fun comes useful concepts, like the MagLevAir airplane.

Designed to reduce noise, space and energy consumption, the MagLevAir limits the cost of using kerosene*, by being hooked to a maglev shuttle. This means more time can be spent on making sure that the airplane will do the job of transporting passengers to airports across short distances.

*(used for acceleration during take-off) source article says "cerosin" however I don't believe that is correct.

    • i would love to see this, particularly if they tested it first in freight distribution. it would be a great way to create jobs here. if i had the money to finance it, i'd be so in. i believe maglev could do wonders for the transportation industry, as well as for shipping and the environment. i just hate that we weren't the ones to think of it. i think it would be a better investment than using all of that money to steal oil.
