Braille and mobile phone technology could soon merge together to allow blind people to use mobiles unlike before.
The Universal Phone -- a concept design from Seunghan Song -- uses thousands of micro pins, which raise and lower to allow inviduals to touch and identify the content on the screen. Sighted people would also be able to use the phone, to get tactile feedback, not found with traditional mobiles.
The dots on the number 5 key of mobile phone keypads, inspired the creation. This could open-up doors for many blind people, as well as technology in general.

Kinda reminds me of those pin-face things from the 80s/90s that all good yuppies had on their desks at work.
Hopefully the tech behind this isn't far off.
