ISP Friendly BitTorrent Tracker Doubles Download Speeds

An opensource BitTorrent tracker may be able to increase download speeds while reducing the strain on ISP networks. The new tracker will gather location data from various clients and direct each client to download from peers who are geographically close. This promises to reduce the strain on ISP networks, reducing their incentive to do away with BitTorrent.
