Teen invents £23 solar panel from human hair

A teenager from a small village in Nepal has invented a new kind of solar panel that uses human hair to conduct electricity and, at £23, costs much less to manufacture.

By using the natural fibre instead of silicon, which is usually found in solar panels and much more expensive, Milan Karki thinks he's found a way to provide affordable electricity to the developing world.
