Pigeon faster than S. African internet

It appears that in South Africa at least, it may be faster to send data via an airborne carrier.

A homing pigeon with a data card attached took just an hour to travel from one office to the other situated 50 miles away, whereas in 2 hours only 4% of the file had transferred via ISP data lines.
