The US is a nation of night surfers

In previous years, U.S. Internet traffic seemed to peak at during daytime business hours. Now, however, the most traffic is seen around 11 PM Eastern time, according to a new study, and it stays strong well past midnight. So what's everyone up to? Games, YouTube and porn, mostly.

Chances are they're online. According to a study, North Americans have been staying up late to do their Internet surfing this summer, so late that the peak usage for the whole day has been at 11 p.m. Eastern time...
