Why am I posting it now?! Because it is just one of many "great cures" I have seen come & go over the years that seem to just disappear...
From the article:
"They tear limbs off each other and despite the fact that they live in this environment with all these microbes, they heal up very rapidly and normally, almost always without infection," said Mark Merchant, an American scientist who has been taking crocodile blood samples in the Northern Territory.
Initial studies of the crocodile immune system in 1998 found that several proteins (antibodies) in the reptile's blood killed bacteria that were resistant to penicillin, such as Staphylococcus aureus or golden staph, Australian scientist Adam Britton.
Britton said the crocodile immune system worked differently from the human system by directly attacking bacteria immediately any infection occurred in the body.
"The crocodile has an immune system which attaches to bacteria and tears it apart and it explodes. It's like putting a gun to the head of the bacteria and pulling the trigger," he said."
This great boon to all Mankind lying dormant since 1998?
Would it help against Swine Flu? Who knows?!

From August 2006 into September I battled a cancer that had the right side upper chest above the waist suddenly began to die. The cells all through my chest began to collapse like I was turning into instant cadaver fodder. My left chest was untouched, but I knew if my right side died my body would be unable to handle that amount of dead tissue. I did hand-to-hand combat with cancer that lasted 4 weeks.
I poured on the nutrition supplements and multi vitamins & minerals so heavy I poisoned myself but in the end I fought off death with nutrition no antibiotics or hospital chemotherapy. I had in fact made Home Chemo. So by another year I decided to make a public news release telling about "nutrition flooding" how it had overfed the cancer cells with antioxidants and berry powders contained in a product called Oxy-Nectar, giving the cancer cells an "internal acid burn" death =>
http://www.prleap.com/pr/91843 is that News release.
Best I can tell the entire United States medical community has done their best to keep the American public dying from cancers of knowing this is possible.

The "trick" of the crocodile's immunity is that whatever it is they have in their blood attacks incoming disease organisms with a vicious-fast response. The bacteria and viruses are not allowed enough time to worm their way into deeper tissue (muscles).
Bacteria and viruses are nothing more than microscopic tapeworms. They find our blood to be a super nutrition source... so they begin to multiply and penetrate deeper into our vital muscles and organs, and even too the brain. So we drop into a fever sometimes and the intense heat of fever destroys the little soft-celled tapeworms.
Some clinics in northern Europe have been using this trick of heat to eliminate every cancer cell in the human body. Unfortunately for us here in the United States we have a Medical OPEC that attacks and destroys such wonderful & effective therapies.

It seems crocodile blood more than anything else has been what has lead to their survival. When people try and save the cute animals rather than the important animals we loose a great deal of our biodiversity. We have a lot to learn form crocs and sharks, and that is why I think the late Steve Irwin was so inspiring. He loved ugly creatures and made them beautiful for us all. I think that it would be marvelous if we developed a cure for viruses like A.I.D.S. by studying this unique reptile immune system that he helped to preserve.

bacteria we can fight, it's viruses that we need to worry about.

In a way that's true but there's a possibility if we strengthened ourselves to the level of a crocodile against bacteria perhaps it would teach our body some new tricks against viruses. Hopefully without turning into one would be good.

I think a guy tried this out in Spiderman. If I recall correctly, it didn't work out too well for him.

be cool if we could incorporate the traits into the human physiology, . . .but that would be an abomination. . . instead we'll turn it into a business and segregate it from the "have nots" so the "haves" don't suffer, . . .yeah that's much more pure
