Spinning Jesus iPhone app. Has Religion gone too far?

Image

I have just spotted a very strange upcoming iPhone app called Spinning Jesus. From what I can see it involves baby Jesus spinning on his back in a nativity scene and delivering a quote from the bible.

The developers are awaiting Apple to make the app live.

Will Apple approve?

Will Christians approve?

Is it serious?

    • this looks amazing! ;) can't wait for it to come out!
I like the idea of being able to pick your own music, but i think maybe be able to scratch your music by spinning jesus back and forth :)

      good work!

    • hahhaha Jesus will rule again if this gets approved - I love it! If all religion had this comic approach it would be all fun and no war - sounds like a good idea to me :) Preaching never got me laughing until I saw this that for sure - looking forward to seeing my friends reactions when I show them hahaha

    • Will the Thought Police Approve?

I'm tired of all these people working for Apple and like companies they think they need to hold our hand through life. Quick this babying bullshit, cut the fucking umbilical.

I want an Amistad app now that just says that everytime I press a button.

    • The wheel of fortune idea was exactly what I was thinking. It should have the opportunity to win prizes on a bonus round like a car (or donkey if keeping in with the theme..)
      Perhaps even a dial-a-baptism feature?

    • Any reason as to why he's spinning? It'll be good to have some flashing lights animation and the ability to pick some music from your iPod to turn it into a barn dance of biblical proportions.

I beleive that you spin Jesus on his back like in a wheel of fortune. The person he points towards (three wise men etc) gives you a bible quote.

Seems a little odd to me :)
