Twitter: The end is nigh for Follow Friday?

Twitter will soon be launching Lists. What's that? It's hopefully something that'll end #FollowFriday once and for all!

Basically, it's a way for users to list those of whom they follow that they wish to highlight to others they follow and the rest of the interweb too.

Do you follow? No? I've confused you, haven't I? Click on the link and read the blog post from the source itself - then all will become clear!

    • It'll be useful to see which of my friends are on Twitter that I'm not following, via other friends' Twitter lists, but I'm not sure I'll bother looking that much.

Anything that finishes off follow friday gets my vote though. Does anyone really follow people just because a contact has listed their name?

I'd like Twitter to improve their search. It's close to impossible to find friends on there. It needs similar functionality to Facebook's - search by name, or email, or get friends recommended smartly.
