Hybrid cars aren't usually renowned for being super quick and sexy (see the Toyota Prius).
Well it seems a team of students in the US decided to change all that by building a diesel Hybrid that can do 0-60 in under 4 seconds!
"That's right, a group of students from West Philadelphia High School have built a diesel hybrid -- based on a kit car -- that can actually go from 0-60mph in just 4-seconds."
"The students were inspired by the gasoline-electric Prius they saw at the 2003 competition. But their car had to meet the proverbial requirements of a teenager: fast and cool-looking!"
