Music download service Napster has relanched, offering a catalogue of around eight million songs, unlimited streaming plus 5 MP3 downloads for £5 a month.
In the US, the service launched in May for $5 a month.
Should Spotify (and the lesser-used We7) be worried? Their similar service is £9.99 a month, though users to get access to an impressive iPhone app that allows music to be played even without an internet connection.
I'd be interested to see why it's cheaper in the US. Is the service not as good or are we just happy to pay a round £5 over here instead of the £3.10 it would be if it was a straight price conversion?
