Don't get too excited, I am sure the republicans have a "morning after pill" in the works. There is too much money and too much power at stake here for the battle to be over.
The public option is essentially the heart beat of health care reform. With out the public option, very little will be gained. I have heard so many people cry in fear of the possibilities of what the public option might do and yet most of them don't even know what it is or what it would do for them.
