Check out this article. Nurses were caught playing Facebook's newly popular game Farmville around 8pm on September 30. The person that captured these pictures was visiting a patient at the hospital at the time.

He said:

"I was visiting my dad at the hospital when I saw these nurses playing a Facebook game on the computer.

"This happened at about 8pm today. A few nurses of ward 57 were sitting at the Nurse Station and using a computer to access a Facebook game called Farmville.

"This is so unprofessional. Instead of attending to the patients, they were playing computer games.

"Moreover, there were still visitors there."

    • The nurses are human. The patient that complained is a complete and utter douchebag. I hate people who enjoy getting people into trouble.

      I totally agree with existentialist.

    • I really don't see the big deal. Nurses make their rounds and answer to patients when they call. They have a fair amount of downtime. I can remember several times going to a hospital and the nurses were just gossiping away because they were caught up.

I agree that if they are going to play facebook games, it should be on a computer where patients and visitors can't see it, so as not to look unprofessional.
