Very small spaces can still be luxurious. Japan has proven this with the three-year construction of the 9h Capsule Hotel with micro rooms.
A completely different experience to traditional hotel stays, the 9h Capsule hotel's micro rooms keep you horizontally comfortable for a maximum of 9 hours, hence the name. It isn't for the highly claustrophobic, but any fears of being 'closed in' soon fade as the Panasonic-desinged panel, sound system and mood lighting ease clients.
The hotel itself includes a shower area, locker rooms and a luxury lounge.

Yeah the 9h hour maxmum, is ideal. Someone mentioned that it would be great if such rooms were made for homeless people, especially during the winter, which I think is a great idea. A cheaper simpler version however.
