    • There is nothing more inspirational than a snafu which somehow ends up OK...Cy, I think you might be able to research this one. Why didn't Titanic Captain Smith return to the iceberg to place his passengers upon it? He had several hours prior to sinking, and I am reasonably confident the berg didn't speed off. I can't seem to find this option even proposed during from the British inquiry. Hindsight, marvelous 20/20 hindsight.
