For those who cant see, now you have a chance to see using your tongue. The Brainport is a relatively new device that translates signals from a head-mounted camera to electrical pulses that lightly zap your tongue in response to visual stimuli. Though the image that would appear would be in black and white, however for some to be able to see in black and white at all is a huge breakthrough.
Now some may ask how can sending electric pulses to your tongue pop up images in your brain. The reason for this is because once the signals reaches the brain through the tongue, the wiring changes to allow the data to be received as an image, crazy as it sounds it works, its not full proof cause one can only see when an electric pad in on their tongue and for some they don't get a clear image but a image none the less.
