Nexus One sales are disappointing

Sales numbers released today indicate that Google’s Nexus One sold only 20,000 units in its first week. Surprising? Disappointing? What say you.

    • "Early adoption" phase is just one segment of the market lifetime of a product. What matters for getting huge sales on a programmable device like this is how many compelling apps are written for it. That process was well under way for Google smart phones before this product debuted. Looking at the first week or two shows you pent up demand. It does not show you potential.

    • If there was 3G support on AT&T I would buy one. I was tempted to break my contract, but I'll just wait until it expires. By then I'm sure there will be some really amazing Android phones out.
