DDoS Attacks Are Back (and Bigger Than Before)

Botnets have been hitting the US hard since the middle of 2009. Google, US banks, the US govt., and others have been hit.

The attack style of Botnets has evolved. They do not fight like an "army of clones". They fight like a riot. They mass up at random intervals from each other, so the mob grows slowly. They do not all attack the same way. Their attacks vary and are crafted to look like normal traffic. But it it is not normal - they are pulling the servers and web sites down.
