A photograph of a baby with a cigarette in his mouth was posted online, prompting a police investigation, it was revealed today.
A concerned internet user contacted the authorities after they saw a picture of a baby boy with an unlit cigarette in his mouth on the social networking site Facebook
"Police received the information in the early hours of Saturday about a picture of a baby with a cigarette in its mouth on Facebook," said the force spokesman
"Officers visited the family home on Saturday and, although no evidence of criminal wrongdoing emerged, words of advice were given to the parent. Essex Police then referred the matter back to the council and we will be visiting the family concerned"

And yet, these same police officers will likely enforce child pornography at the airport thanks to these new naked scanners. Not excusing this photo, but most people I know started smoking long before the legal age, so should we turn around and arrest all these parents too? Morale of this story: We are watching you, keep thinking you are free, we are watching you.
Here is my philosophy: Without privacy, there can be no security.

I've seen this pic a few times before! Personally I am against smoking by ANYONE,but I am almost positive this is just someone's twisted idea of a joke! & at LEAST the cigarette isn't lit! (or doesn't seem to be anyway)
