I think this pretty much ends the debate on whether governments can control the weather, cause earthquakes or even volcanoes using HAARP type of electro-magnetic waves! Now, can we quit calling it a 'conspiracy' and Chavez is crazy and do something about it?

This is straight from Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen

Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.

The rest of his speech at the DoD News Briefing can be read at the link above:

Remember the word, HAARP. No, not global warming, not accidental earthquakes, eco-terrorism using electromagnetic waves. This is coming from the freaking SECRETARY OF DEFENSE.

Debate over, hear me, debate over, HAARP can cause earthquakes, alter the climate and even trigger volcanoes. This is crimes against humanity and must be stopped.

    • It is not even science fiction we are talking about being a creator. I will only believe if they can create another earth and another sun and another galaxy and also another new kind of living thing with doesn't need to eat not a robo( organic or inorganic ).

    • i been hearing/reading about this HAARP things for some time now... but right from the horses mouth.. and really.. no 3rd world country, or place where they fight in sandals throwing rocks and bottles are making anything of that magnitude.. they would have used it.. you got 100's of thousands of enemy soldiers right at your door step, if you had a WMD you would use it there and win the war on the 1st day or 2..? or hide your big bomb that would guarantee you victory..? idk know man, i just dont know anymore.

    • He said there are reports of the development of those types of weapons in other countries. He also mentions virus engineering.

He does not make any mention of US capabilities or programs, though I guess you could assume we have something similar being researched.

    • You have taken that report completely out of context. The DoD claims "terrorist" groups are TRYING to develop a way to trigger earthquakes.

"There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves."

No where in that report does he say the US can trigger earthquakes. Do you really think the DoD wouldn't say something like this for a reason to increase their budget and increase their power? It's a lot more probable.

Okay, so you think terrorist groups are going to be able to develop something we don't already have. He also says they work with electromangetic waves, ie HAARP. You don't have to think to hard to come to these conclusions, farmer.

So to attack me for calling out bullshit makes you no better than the next totalitarian. Read the fucking link, then get back to me you bandwagon jumping democrat.

It's bullshit shock-value agenda minded people like this that ruin current.com
Do we really need BS amidst all the true shocking events happening in our society?

My agenda is to propose that there are stories posted on this site that have agendas that hide under the guise of conspiracy theory as 100% factual and conservatives are the only enemy.

Ho ho... the short bus? How clever! Wow, your wit is uncanny.

Thanks for that compliment on my wit. I guess you ain't that bad, lol. Anyway, sorry if I've been harsh on you the last couple of days. I am in the middle of finally proving a 'conspiracy' that I am smack in the middle of after 15 years. I'm highly stressed and nervous because of who will be affected by my future 'outing' of some serious information. I didn't mean to take it out on you. The above statement is why I started looking into conspiracies to try and figure out which ones are true. I found out that many poor and minorities aren't really guilty in local courts but are kind of run through a fixed system that guarantees employment for court related jobs. I found out a lot more but that will be in a post to come soon. I would ask that you forgive me and help to spread the post when it comes out.

I'm with you on the poor minorities inequality. I've studied the numbers (i have a ba in sociology). I could type for days on the subject, but in short, we Americans are raised to be racist and stereotypical. period.
