Jon Snow raises questions on the impact of free and readily available porn on the internet and whether or not it is changing our society.

There is no question that the internet has changed our attitudes towards the acquisition of media, but when this media is pornography, the question must be asked 'is this a bad thing?'.

With several of the top stories in the last week being directly related to the sexual and physical abuse of children, it suffices to say that Snow is 'filled with dread' when confronting the matter.

The sheer quantity of porn on the internet makes it hard for anyone to take on the mantle of bringing those who are responsible for distributing child porn to justice...

But with police in Toronto making several arrests today related to a child porn probe, there is hope that the authorities can continue to track down those guilty of sharing and copying serious sexual material.
