Facebook says it will not install a "panic button" on its main pages for users to report suspected paedophiles, but will develop its existing system.

    • This is a tragic story, but I don't understand how a panic button could have prevented this. If the victim is deceived, I can't see them flagging someone who has convinced them to meet in person as a sexual predator. Unless the main function is for other people to flag suspicious profiles--but that feature is already in place.

    • "Too unrestricted" facebook is just main one there are many sites similar it should be mandatory for you to give your passport number or else.. so that facebook system can check your identity etc.... automatic system same as british driver licensing website has.

point blank : the internet is a unprotected jungle where anything goes
in the wild would you let your 12 year old go into the forest alone and unprotected with wolves and bears ? answer is no.

so why do we let our children on to the online jungle?.

becuase the goverment says so they say its ok so we do it
also the schools are lazy sons of @@@@@ what ever happened to the librarys

excuses excuses but after all we can thank the Bilderberg Group for takeing over the job of parents and makeing it illigel to teach your child at home ;)

why dont they just take the kids from us at birth and save us the illusion of parenthood
