Energy Efficient Cheat Devices Found Inside LG Fridges

This is ridiculous news! Not shocked it happens, but this is the third time they have been caught for something like this??

LG known for their slogan Life's Good has recently had some issues with their energy efficient refrigerators. Earlier this year several of their models were stripped of their Energy Star rating for not meeting the required guidelines and now comes word that a "cheat" device has been found inside their fridges to make it look like they are saving energy.

      Shouldn't a test laboratory replicate the conditions in a home?
      If not, what exactly are they testing it for?
