Ah CNN...when it comes to feeding confusion about cars, no one does it better. Like their reporting of the 2002 Toyota Technical Service Bulletin that was supposedly proof of a massive conspiracy between Toyota and the Federal Government from people knowing uncontrollable accelerations. Never mind that not only was the Technical Service Bulletin is available online, but so is the complete NHTSA's Office of Defect Investigation on the issue...Or the goddamn obvious huge issue that they are implying links to cars that share no engine, transmission, or electrical systems.
I am not implying that Toyota has handled this situation well...cause they sure have not. But CNN is not doing anything but fanning ignorance of the technical issues.
