Leno, Conan, Kimmel and the late night wars of 2010.

Today Jason sent around last night's Kimmel / Leno interview. I watched it, and laughed so hard that I scared five people in surrounding cubicles.

It's one of the most cringe-worthy awkward interviews I've ever seen. Kimmel cuts deep into Leno. When Leno asked "what's the best prank you ever pulled?" Kimmel responds: "I told a guy that five years from now, I'm going to give you my show. and then when the five years came I gave it to him, and then I took it back almost instantly."

Later Leno asks about Kimmel and strippers. Kimmel responds: "Strippers, I don't like in general, because you have this phony relationship with them for money, similar to that of when you and Conan were on 'The Tonight Show' together, passing the torch."

It seems like everyone is siding with Conan. Current user Timbuktu sent me some pictures he made showing his Conan support.

But Leno must have fans. I bet Conan's audience is much more vocal. For example the Facebook group NBC Stop Screwing Over Jay Leno has 5 members. Whereas I'm with Coco has 9,098 members.

Jay Leno seems so out of touch to us, but I imagine there are older people who are equally out of touch who enjoy his hackneyed sense of humor.

Have you meet anyone who sides with Leno?

All this Leno / Conan coverage isn't just on the internet. Newscasters are (very literally) saying the same things. infoMania has compiled those clips, in this segment called Late Night Talkpocalypse.
