That's cool but I'm not sure if I'd really want to invest on one. It depends on how that works. Because if it would require me to have some chip implanted in any part of my body then it's a No for me.=)

If I ever have enough money for one of these,I am getting one for sure! I would love it if this were a USB trigger!!! Then I could access a keyboard on my arm & play music on my body with some external device !!! Just looking up news stories on current on my arm would be a little wild! You'd need all sorts of stuff to get this to even be as good as this old `93 Computer I'm on right now! The potential for something totally awesome IS here it just needs to be worked with & perfected a bit!

potential to be very cool...packaging design? Not practical if you need a handheld device...then might as well use your Droid! If it's tiny and attaches to your shades, then I want one!

It's a good idea and has a lot of potential. I really doubt Microsoft will be any good at implementing it though, unless they make the devices themselves. That's where Apple's full control of the production process has its advantage- it's much slower but people prefer user friendly stuff that works simply as opposed to bleeding edge stuff that takes more effort.

You do have a point. It is somewhat similar to what is mentioned in the bible - Revelation. =)

to me, this is just like an ipad. its a great idea in theory but not as practical as a PC. until something can do as much as a computer, it seems pointless. sure, u can text w this, but can u type out a research paper or edit pictures? otherwise, i'd rather spend the money upgrading my PC than buying devices that will never live up to it.

"When a Skinput user taps a thumb and middle finger together, the impact sends ripples down the skin and through the bones in the person's arm. "They sort of start resonating -- like guitar strings," Harrison said. The diving-board receivers read the sound waves to figure out what gesture the person made, and then relay that information to a phone.
Skinput can tell whether a person tapped a middle finger or an index finger, because the two moves sound slightly different to the springy receivers.
The system takes one or two minutes to learn the sounds of a particular person's arm, Morris said, and then it can be used however the user likes."
If you put some foam ear-plugs tightly in your ears wait until they expand and seal out most of the sound, you can hear different sounds as they travel through your body. Tap on different bones and you will see what I mean.

this is pretty cool but of course it will be some time before they can give this wonderful piece of machinery a more attractive appearance -.-
