More on the seed burning in Haiti today ( will also post other information as and if I can find it) and if you look at this link on Huffington Post, you will notice that the first comment is from "Kath Monsanto" who was obviously sent there to write the company talking points. i added two comments there and told her in no uncertain terms she was full of it. If you would like to do the same, the link is right here. I think it is time we get in all of their faces.

Actually, urban agriculture is growing around the country. This entry list ways you can farm in cities. I have seen people growing food on fire escapes, window sills, flatbed trucks, roof tops, etc. It is the wave of the future as well as vertical farming and finding other ways to farm that save space while increasing yield. Monsanto may think they can own us all, but they can't. And we will fight them.If you wish, also look up the organization Growing Power and see what they are doing for urban agriculture. We are on the cusp of a food revolution from Chicago to Los Angeles, and it will have to be us that takes the initiative in taking our food back.

I hope you never lose a loved one to cancer or some other serious illness. But if you should unfortunately, you would see how much you care after that. Monsanto has poisoned this world for over a hundred years and it has resulted in death, disease, and environmental destruction that will live on in your children's time if you ever have any. If you think that isn't something to care about I feel sorry for you.

You are absolutely right. GMOs are so far under the radar in the public mind. I would love to see you on CNN one day pleading the case against Monsanto. It would be at least a little comforting to see ANY coverage regarding this very, very important issue. If it doesn't get into the public's minds soon, it's going to be too late to stop this terrible thing from going down, unchecked.

Not only that, but the media is a willing accomplice in playing their damn Round Up ads over and over again, but you never hear the warnings about using it too liberally. Matter of fact, the ad makes it look like you can spray it anywhere and you are safe. They don't tell you in the ad that you should not spray it on walkways, in cracks and crevices where it can be washed down into sewers which lead to the ocean, or that spraying too much may cause brain cell damage in fetusues and weed resistance.They actually show the pump pumping it on the sidewalk, in the cracks, and making you think it is as safe as water. It is absolutely criminal what Monsanto is getting away with.
