The iPhone 4, which will cost 199 (£137) and 299 (£206) dollars in the US with a two-year AT&T contract, depending on the capacity.
The iPhone 3GS, which debuted last year, will still be available.
Some of the mystery surrounding Apple's latest creation had been punctured in April, when tech blog Gizmodo bought a lost iPhone prototype for £3,400 and posted pictures of the unit.
One of the most noticeable changes is the iPhone's new camera on the front that can be used for video conferencing, in addition to a five-megapixel camera and a flash on the back.
Come check out the features.

I'm fully aware everything is made in china these days, it's just that most companies are not up their own arse about it like apple by the way they say 'designed in california' like it gives their software more credit, just my opinion anyway, as i type this on my mac.

What's so important about flash?? Upset about not being able to watch porn or something? Everyone needs to start pushing a little more to support HTML5 so it becomes a standard...it's amazing.

yep. i do wanna watch porn, as well as develop things on my own that can be used for the iphone, without having to use their tools. its just about freedom. html5 sounds kool *shrugs* still the thing is stuck to the shittiest network. yay mediocrity!

I love the fact they've made an incredible-sounding piece of kit but the internet connection still goes down on the big day.

I just can't help but think everyone with an iphone is a bit of a mug? they could make you the most amzing phone now, but instead they chose to tweak tiny little aspects to keep you wanting more.. every year.. for how long?!. it's alomst like an abusive partner.. always giving just enough to keep you holding on.. ooo ooo this one has a flash!!!!

Just as the first iPhone was a game-changer, so is iPhone 4.
(I skipped the middle two "updates" to iPhone, but I'll be snapping up this one!!)
