Playing violent video games can make some adolescents more hostile, particularly those who are less agreeable, less conscientious and easily angered.

    • Eh, I wouldn't say that it is "violent" video games that cause aggression or hostility. It is playing games against other people that causes that. I can play a game of Monopoly and be just as pissed off about losing as I can when I get knifed in Call of Duty.. ya know?

    • I personally think this all has to do with maturity. If you can't show some self-control and responsibility in your life, then odds are you're more likely to commit violence.

I just wonder if there has actually been a study done on maturity and its relationship to violence, or any connections of either or both to video games. Even if it isn't possible to do such a study, or if there isn't one right now, I am more than convinced that the problem is how people react to the video games, and not the actual games themselves.
