After claims they were not going to install a panic button, Facebook agreed with the Ceop to introduce an application for children and teenagers to report on bullying or questionable accounts.

"Pressure mounted on Facebook following the rape and murder of 17-year-old Ashleigh Hall by a 33-year-old convicted sex offender, posing as a teenage boy, who she met on Facebook."-BBC

There was atiny debate on the BBC this morning on if the button should be already on accounts instead of the install function. Ceop stated the button on Facebook was progress for online protection.
