Looks like another lawsuit for Apple! Today three iPad users claimed Apple’s tablet slate, the iPad failed to meet its promises as an e-book reader. The group has filed a federal class-action lawsuit in Northern California ..

    • This is just stupid.

      These morons should be forced to pay Apple's legal fees.

      Net they will claim it's not an acceptable for eMail because there is no place to stick a stamp, or as a movie viewer because you can't insert a VHS tape.

    • rofl... a netbook without flash player and the book part... oh yeah... no headphone jacks, no usb ports, and fuck the sound is in mono... even pc's from the early 90's had stereo sound!

    • thats stupid. then go buy a fucking kindle then. its called a free market, hence the option of choice. Suing a company because they dont provide a certain amenity the consumer wants is just immature. Technically, with that argument, I could also sue Apple because the iPad's not made out of paper, thus its not like a real book. God.

      its only a free market when there are legitimate viable alternatives not bad and worse. At least according to the theory. Apple also has engaged in propaganda tactics often called "marketing" to draw consumers to their product which would eliminate "free" choice and only leave a suggestion that repeats every 10 minutes.

      i agree with you completely, but if apple I guess didn't state that it is an "e-reader" or whatever, they wouldn't be sued. they shouldn't have said anything, released their kick ass product- which I'm using right now, & they wouldn't have to worry about it not doing what they said. simple. apple still kicks ass..
