November, ‘iPad’ BlackBerry Released

Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry smartphone manufacturers are planning to go to market touch screen tablet and back to compete with Apple, in November. The item prepared is called ‘BlackPad’. Two sources who know the plan is confirmed the news about BlackPad on Bloomberg. Recently, RIM has already bought their own domain name BlackPad.com. According to these sources, as quoted from Apple Insider, August 2, 2010 is a 9.7 inch touch screen tablet, similar to the iPad. There is Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth in it. Users may also call the internet via their BlackBerry, unlike Apple iPad banning users accessing the 3G data service via iPhone. The source also said that RIM has no plans on overtaking Apple iPad from the price. They try to make profits from the products of the tablets. Artificial BlackPad RIM will add competition to the iPad which sold 3.27 million units in the first quarter after launch. Microsoft is a competitor who will enliven the tablet PC market this year.
