Hacker jailed after filming his victims and spamming millions

A Scottish computer expert who hacked into his victims' webcams and filmed them bursting into tears as he messed with their computers has been jailed for 18 months today.

Investigators found Matthew Anderson, a 33-year-old father-of-five, had downloaded intimate photographs, job applications, CVs and sensitive medical letters when he hacked into machines.

He also sent out tens of millions of spam e-mails to computers around the world from the PC which was located in his mother's front room in the Scottish Highlands. And what was this hacker's explanation to locating his criminal "studio" at his mum's? He didn't have broadband at home…
