New Discovery about the Fabric of Space-Time

Vierotchka
Scientists have turned up rare evidence that space-time is smooth as Einstein predicted, while pushing closer to a complete theory of gravity. From NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope.

    • Thanks, " V" for the interesting video. I watched an interesting program on Discovery Channel discussing the "speed of light" as not being the ultimate velocity possible. This is all very curious.

The speed of light, in my opinion, might be considered as the true barrier to our physical reality. That is to say the speed of light acts as the barrier to our perception of other physical realities. The speed of light is the frequency we used to interpret and integrate this consenual physical reality. Other realities could be bound to slightly higher speeds of light up to infinity (which would represent something like the vacuum zero point field that contains all information of "all that is"). Just my view on things, that is all.

That could be true in a physical sense. If I remember the Discovery program correctly, they were discussing the relationship between time and velocity. One snippet in the program discussed the observed phenomenom that our Universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. Which according to Einstein's theory is impossible. I beg the scientists on Current not to bash me too hard. I was just commenting on a new concept for me.

Let me then pose a question that I have been pondering. It is a fact that certain animals hear sounds beyond our capabilities to hear. Could our perception of light also be limited by our humanity? Could another reality co-exist along side our perception of reality, as defined by our vision and hearing? In 2005 I suffered a near fatal case of pneumonia and in the 3 days before hospitalization, I saw many strange visions while awake. I assumed it was caused by fever, but I did not have a fever. I am now very curious as to what reality is.

Right on. You got what I was saying. The human vision system is already limited to only seeing the frequencies of colors of the rainbow. It has taken technology, an extension of human senses to detect anything else. So how could we detect a new, more energetic part of the spectrum? For this to happen, we are going to have to broaden the EM spectrum. Right now, it stops around the gamma rays (~10^20 Hz). Someday, it is my vision that we will discover frequencies of a much higher domain, and that is where these simultaneously occurring, parallel realities are hiding. Here's to the future of science.

In my opinion, due to my subjective experiences, I feel that to delve into these higher frequencies will recquire a new view of consciousness, and maybe even depend on one's ability to use the tools that ones consciousness has to offer. As a sidenote, I have been practicing OBE techniques for several months now and so far I have taken part in two separate, parallel realities besides being able to float around our own. Things in one of these realities was almost identical to ours, except that rate at which I observe things seem to have increased. It was like everything was in slowmo. And in the other reality, mass was much much lighter and seemed transparent in a way. So I hypothesize that both of these realities had slightly different fundamental values for quantities such as the speed of light. So it takes some sort of resonance between you and the co-existing, parallel reality Who knows, but that makes sense to me and I hope it can make some sort of sense to you.

You should check out the book "Science and the Akashic Field" if you haven't already. An excellent, and fairly quick read!

We have to take consciousness into account to truly have a complete picture of physics, if you ask me. If you're familiar with the "double slit" experiment, this will make some sense. Basically, the book purports, and uses various new evidence to support the theory that there are multiple universes, and when a new universe is born, it is "in-formed" by the minute vorticies of particles already moving within the quantum vacuum... and that this essentially means that universes "evolve". Which, when you take into account the fact that it's been shown that the cosmological constant (something Einstein thought could not change) has been seen to seemingly fluctuate as we move deeper through space... this starts to make sense. If the cosmological constant (Lambda?) Were to be one-billionth different in our neck of the woods, then matter here would basically be unable to bond. The workings of our universe are tuned SO PERFECTLY, that any fluctuation would completely obliterate everything we know. How can it be that precarious?

I highly recommend that book. The evidence he brings up paints a fairly convincing picture... that the universe, and everything in it... is seated in consciousness... instead of consciousness being the exception to the rule.

Right on. I'll check that book out soon. Yea, I am very familiar most GUTs/TOEs encompassing consciousness, quantum mechanics and the quantum vacuum, zero-point field. It seems that at every planck second energy fluxes out in a probabilistic, virtual fashion from the quantum foam, if you will. And it is immediately reabsorbed back into the vacuum. When you tie consciousness, self similarity, the vibrational nature of matter, certain geomtries, and the notion the quantum hologram, things begin to make a lot of sense in terms of the question: How is reality created and what do I have to do with it. In my opinion everything is involved in a self regulated feedback loop in which matter, and our individualized consciousnesses, and thus our realities, are generated because of an interpretation or resonance with some frequency within the higher quantum holographic domain. It takes consciousness to get information from the vacuum, but the vacuum feeds the consciousness. So at every planck second, an infinitude of parallel realities are generated simultaneously, each valid in its own respect, but most of which are not relevant to our consensus reality. So each time this happens, it can be imagined as one frame in a filmstrip for a movie. It takes a consciousness to illuminate one frame at a time, at this happens around 10^32 or so times a second; so our consciousness and reality are co-created literally all the time. So you are never truly the same person as you were just a moment ago. Right now our vision picks up around 24 frames/second. You have to speed up that observation rate several orders of magnitude to begin to see the unfolding of creation itself. We are told by the spiritually adept several things: We all stem from some form of unity, to view the infinite one must learn to look within, and that we are masters of creation. We are told to meditate in certain tradition to clear our energy body in order to allow the raising of the vibrations of our emotional, subtle energy bodies. It is these deeply dedicated yogic master and other enlightened beings who can raise their subtle-energetic body's vibration to pick up more "reality frames per second". Each individual reality frame can be deemed a steady-state holofractomovement .... that could be the most precse way of putting it. By calming down the mind, and realizing that one can commune with infinite by observing the infintesimal within yourself, you can come to grips with the finer scales of reality. In other words, all of these spiritual adepts who claim to have a mastery of matter, manifestation, creation, or other aspects of reality, have simply raised their vibration or cosmic awareness, allowing them to become aware of the finer scale structure of reality, enabling them to become more resonant with more possibilities, and they simply are aware of that choice in co-creation. That can choose which realities to co-create with and which ones to ignore. They are just aware of that process and choice. If anything I just ranted about makes sense to you or interests you, check out the work of Nassim Haramein http://www.theresonanceproject.org/. I thought of this as the mechanism for creation a couple years ago and just a few days ago came across his work. He basically says the same thing but has the math to go along with. Truly convergent and a little synchronistic. This is about some of the only type of material I read about now ... just too damn mind boggling. Knowledge is power.

Very cool. Thank you for your thoughts. That was a good read.

The only thing I know for sure about everything... is that I want to know more. The more I learn... the deeper it goes. 2 years ago I never would have thought that my views of physics would shift more into the realm of spirituality. Indeed, the two should not be separate. The whole of creation is incredibly beautiful.

Same here. I went being from good catholic boy up till high school to being a straight up atheistic scientist type, seeking for most of my answers within science to find a way to disprove and type of spirituality. And here I am now, neck deep in this material, and beyond convinced that some form of hyper consciousness exists. It just makes you go full circle. Truly uncanny in my opinion.

Dude, I just read your profile... we need to talk. I build aquaponic systems in my spare time (Among other things)... and pretty much everything else in your profile is aligned with me.

Cool beans. I consider my self somewhat of a roamer. I like to set up shop somewhere for no more than a year. Past several years I have lived in dayton, OH (went to university of Dayton), Corvallis, OR (where i went to OSU for horticulture), I bounced around northern cali for a few months, Durango, CO, and am now back in St. Louis (where I am originally from) for a little bit. And fuckin A on the aquaponics ... it's difficult to come across someone who's even hear of it. It's like looking into the future for me.

Yeah. I can't say I've ever run into someone who's even heard of it... but I take every chance I get to explain it to people, which is often, because there's a big pink light in my living room. I'd love to pick your brain sometime... or if you're interested in co-engineering a project or something. I didn't study horticulture. I'm a software engineer turned into a plant whisperer. I'm assuming, too, that you've heard of the work of Cleve Backster... the lie detector specialist?

I can actually say I have never heard of him, but from what I just looked up real quick sounds right up my alley. What kind of produce/ herbs are you interested in growing aquaponically right now. I have now adopted vertical techniques for every aspect of my horticultural endeavors, and it is the wave of the future. Currently, all I have is a vertical manifold that holds 12 tubes for growing strawberries, using goldfish and guppies, and as an intermediary step, I grow duckweed for the fish with the water that just passed through the strawberry medium. Pretty simple to put together and get running. And delicious strawberries year round. I think my next model will incorporate melons (I worked on a melon farm for two years that grew over 75 varieties of melon and squash while in Oregon and loved it, so thought it would be worth a try aquaponically.

I still think there's something missing from that theory... which is consciousness. I do think that the TOE that we go with should be simple... but I'll look into Lisi a bit more.

Check this book out, though... I mentioned it earlier in the post... it's called "Science and the Akashic Field". It's by Ervin Laszlo. The guy has a beautiful view... and it accounts for a lot of unanswered questions that tie directly back into consciousness. I had heard previously about people who had near death experiences while hooked up to an EEG that was completely "flatlined" ... showing no brain activity... yet they came back and said they had an intense spiritual experience. I'm no christian by any means, but I do think there is a spiritual tie to physics... in that... consciousness must somehow be integrated into our view of the universe.

If you check that book out let me know what you think. Does Lisi have a book I should read?
