HTC launches new Mozart handset in India

Available for Tata Docomo customers with special data offer

HTC India has launched the new Mozart handset with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system in association with Indian telecom operator Tata Docomo.

The new smartphone, which comes with Dolby Mobile certification, features an eight megapixel camera with Xenon Flash.

This handset is priced at INR26,490 (approximately $588) for Indian market, and will be available with an exclusive special data offer for Tata Docomo customers.

The new HTC Mozart is powered by 3G network and comes equipped with a 3.7-inch display and pinch-to-zoom feature.

HTC 7 Mozart also features 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8250 chipset; 512 MB ROM, 576 MB RAM; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n; stereo FM radio with RDS; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP; microUSB 2.0; and Li-Ion 1300 mAh standard battery.

HTC India country head Ajay Sharma said the HTC 7 Mozart is a great piece of craftsmanship with some of the most-advanced features and perfectly underlines HTC's focus on raising the bar in mobile phone innovation and design.
